The human error are the most common cause of the Most Catastrophic accident in Air and at Sea, it happen when someone try to disobeyed the rules that must be used at all times, There was a Story before it was 6 years ago, when a young Chief Officer Promoted as Captain of the Ship, he accept the promotion even if he think that he may not capable of doing so ,he did not tell anyone about it because his afraid to lose the opportunity , he did that use traditional way of navigating in high seas, he prefer to use electric navigational equipment that present onboard, it was then the Captain disembarked in the Ship, and he Become next in Command, he Commanded the Ship leaving Port of Berlin, it was during night time when the Ship recieve the navigational warning from navtex, indicating a strong typhoon hitting there way up, the new Captain immediately ordered his men to alter the course, through the used of the navigational equipment called Arpa, he can immediately take it back to the original course, his men immediately follow his order, unfortunately there’s an electrical problem, and all of the electrical equipment is shutting-down, the second Officer took immediately the Chart to plot and locate the position of the vessel and suggest to go northwest, he disregard the suggestion of his Second officer, he did not listen and decide to alter the course differently, his decision takes the ship in a nowhere situation and they lost in the middle of the Pacific ocean, 2 days after the electrical problem has been fixed and the system is become functional, they proceed to there right course and reach the port of Australia, but the Cargo that they brought has been delayed and it was a mess for the Shipping Company they paid the charterer for the delayed Cargoes and the new Captain lost his job, and now blacklisted in the Shipping industry, he cannot command a Ship anymore, for that it means he lost his career he will not able to get it back again, it maybe the greatest mistake of his life, but he must face the consequences,in a single turn he lost everytime,
When you decided to take the helm and make a business you are become a Captain you are all responsible of the risk that may occur, you may also lost it in a single turn, there are three things that you must have in starting a Business,BRAINS, GUTS, and CAPITAL, brains,credentials are important, entrepreneurial “brains” means more than scholastic achievements, Guts you must have the guts and dedication to be completely devoted to your goals , and Capital, every Business need it refer to the hard earn money that whether you owe to someone or from your own savings, one of the best advantage is you will earn much bigger income than saving your many in the bank, but if the Business Economics turndown and you are just starting to make a plan own your own and commit a decision by altering the course notwithstanding everything, it can be the end of your business if you push a wrong button, to avoid this make sure you have a Risk control plan and a Management team and when there are natural disasters hit your way up,make sure you have a disaster control plan, to cope such event, because if you are less prepared to handle such event it would jeopardize your Business and the Crew, As the Captain in your Business you well be in command, your order will be followed and if you take a wrong turn they will also fall just like you,they got no choice but to find another job and they eventually leave you alone, and you will face it by your own,here are the questions that well help you clarify your thoughts, on selecting a business, what are the things that i love to do? if you’re doing something you love, you’re much more likely to stick with it through thick and thin times.My favorite activities are?how can i earn from it?can i handle the capital requirements?
